Excellent Mediterranean restaurant. Located in the Old City, next to baseball stadium. Opens at 4:00, reservations highly recommended.
Tennessee Riverboat Company
A fun way to explore Knoxville from an authentic paddlewheel riverboat. Buy tickets well in advance, as this is a popular summer event. The dock for the boat is located near Calhoun's Restaurant, which has good cocktails while viewing the river.

From sports bars to chicken and waffles, the square has it all. Cute boutique shops and outdoor seating at most restaurants.

Great margaritas, street tacos and guacamole. Nice, long wood bar in a rustic dining room. Opens at 11 am.

Visit the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture. Walk along the Tennessee River for scenic views. Visit the athletic facilities, including Neyland Stadium. Take a break at the campus green spaces, like the Circle Park. End your tour at the Alumni Memorial Building for a glimpse of campus history.
