We met in elementary school at Stein School in Edmonds, WA. Tyler was Isabel's first crush - in 2nd grade! She chased him around the playground trying to land a kiss, until a teacher finally took her in the office and told her to stop. When Stein School closed, we went separate ways but became Facebook friends in 2006. After 10 years, Tyler got up the courage to message Isabel and ask her on a date! She tried to ignore him but he was persistent and won her over with a Taylor Swift lyric: it's a love story, baby just say yes? We've been inseparable ever since!

It was a beautifully sunny winter day atop the terrace at the St. Regis Hotel overlooking Deer Valley, Utah. Isabel knew something was up when she saw her four friends all laser focused on her with cameras as Tyler walked up fumbling around in his pocket. She began jumping with joy and shouting out in excitement as Tyler got down on one knee. After being reminded that she actually had to provide a verbal response, she said YES!! Thank you to the Maid of Honor, Rachel, and bridesmaid, Shannon, who helped plan the perfect proposal and celebrated with us all weekend!
