FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tiyanna Boyd and Joseph Sheehan
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP by April 8th, which is two months before the wedding. This will help us finalize details and ensure everything is perfectly prepared for the big day! We appreciate your prompt response.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, so we ask that you plan to arrive by 2:30 PM. This will give you plenty of time to park, get settled, and enjoy the beautiful setting before everything begins!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re envisioning a relaxed, garden-inspired vibe for our special day. Think comfortable yet polished—dresses, skirts, or jumpsuits in light, flowy fabrics, and button-down shirts or casual blazers with dress pants. Feel free to embrace soft colors and floral patterns to match the outdoor setting. And don’t forget comfortable shoes for strolling the grounds!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Since we’re doing a buffet-style meal, there will be a variety of dishes to choose from, and we’ll make sure everything is clearly labeled with key ingredients to help guide your choices. We recommend picking what works best for your diet when you’re there. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out—we want to ensure you can enjoy the celebration comfortably!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at The Canal House. Before the ceremony starts, parking attendants will be on-site to assist with directing cars and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Please note that there will not be transportation provided to or from the ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to arrange their own travel. If needed, cars can stay parked overnight, but please make arrangements to pick them up by 9:30 AM the following day.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Kids are not only welcome but encouraged to join us if their name is on the RSVP. They’re such a big part of our lives, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with all the little ones who bring so much joy. That said, we do ask that parents keep an eye on their kiddos throughout the day to ensure everyone has a safe and fun time

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re so grateful for your love and support as we begin this new chapter! While we’re not registered anywhere, your presence on our special day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. If you feel inclined, contributions towards our honeymoon or future home would mean the world to us—but please know they are absolutely not required. Thank you for celebrating this exciting time with us!

Question

Is Hazy the cutest dog in the world?

Answer

Yes.
