What type of attire is appropriate for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear formal attire for both the ceremony and reception, either Western or Indian. Come dressed in your finest to help us celebrate this joyful occasion in style!

Is there parking available at the church?

Answer

On-street parking is available in the area surrounding the Cathedral; however it may be limited. Complimentary Parking Instructions: Park at the Convention Centre Parkade, Lot 60 (Address: 727 1 St SE, Calgary, AB). Once parked, please note your license plate number, and proceed to the ParkPlus Pay Machine. The ParkPlus Pay Machines are located in the elevator lobby and on the main level of the Convention Centre. We recommend you take a photo of your plate number to have this information handy. Once at the pay machine, you will have to choose event on the screen (step 1), input the facility event code, 60000 (step 2), the validation code for your specific event, 606276 (step 3), and your license plate number (step 4) for complimentary parking. STEP 1: Select ‘EVENT’ STEP 2: Enter the facility event code (60000) and press the green button. STEP 3: Select ‘VALIDATE’ and enter the above validation code (606276). Wait for validation to be verified. *DO NOT ENTER YOUR LICENSE PLATE UNTIL YOU HAVE ENTERED THE VALIDATION CODE.* STEP 4: Enter license plate and press green button to confirm. Press green button again for Event Parking. STEP 5: Press for receipt. We recommend that you take the receipt as record of the session starting.

Yes, there is plenty of free on-site parking available for all guests at the reception venue.

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

If you are attending the church ceremony, please plan on finding a seat inside by 10:00 AM MST so we can start promptly at 10:30 AM MST. The reception cocktail hour starts at 5:00PM MST
