FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Although it is possible to drive the entire island in one day. We recommend staying in Princeville for the weekend of the wedding. If you are able to, we highly recommend staying in Poipu or Kapaa for the remainder of your trip to immerse yourself in all of the beauty of the island.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We invite you to dress in elevated, island-appropriate attire. Think light, breathable fabrics, soft colors, florals, and tropical prints. Ladies may opt for flowy dresses, midi or maxi lengths. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress shirts, linen pants, or lightweight suits (ties optional). Please note the ceremony will be held outdoors on grass — wedges, block heels, flats, or sandals are recommended. Dinner will also be held outdoors under a tent.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Common Ground. Guests are responsible for their own transportation. We recommend staying in Princeville, HI. Princeville is about 15-20 minutes from the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our Kauai celebration and limited capacity, we’re only able to include the guests listed on your invitation. We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone. That said, we’re so excited to celebrate again with all of you at our reception back home, where we’ll happily welcome your plus one!

Question

Is this an adults-only celebration?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, to allow for an intimate celebration, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of children in our immediate family. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
