"Good job shorty" after my most embarrassing track meet run..it was so awkward yet I was so intrigued. I guess we had met the year before at a state basketball game.. He had eaten all my frozen pink lemonade.. if I knew that then, there would have been a slim chance of me ever texting him back! lol After the track meet, our friend Leanne had given Pablo my phone number, he texted me, I played it cool texting back "who's this" even though I was internally screaming because I knew it had to be him... the rest is history
I have been blessed with not 1, but 2 proposals from my best friend. One no important than the other, each one belonging to a special time, place and importance to my life. Disneyland November 29th 2014: All day I wanted a photo in front of the castle. I was dressed up all cute with my Minnie Mouse shirt and shorts, but the later it got, the chillier it became. We went back to the hotel to change. I, not knowing what was to come ahead, put every single layer of clothing on to keep warm, turning out to be a disaster of an outfit. Pablo was super distant and quiet.. I thought he was mad at me for the longest time. Forward back into Disneyland and I wanted to watch the Castle Christmas Light-up Ceremony. While we waited for it to start, I got Pablo a Turkey leg (which is his favorite) and he barely took a bite, I thought for sure he was upset with me. After the light ceremony ended, we ran up as fast as we could to the castle, myself posed for a picture, did not realize that Pablo let go of me to get down on one knee. I about blacked out after that, but I just remember looking at him, crying and realizing what is happening, I cried, people clapped then we got rushed out because they were clearing that area for the firework show. 1st Best Day December 23rd 2017: We wanted to get Christmas photos done, we always give them as gifts to the family, but unknowingly I was about to receive the best gift out of them! We went to Hendricks park, figured it would be the cutest to set up for a little Christmas shoot. As we were taking pictures, Mekayla told me to turn around, I laughed because I figured Pablo was making an inappropriate pose again (clearly a tradition) it was taking forever so I turned around and BAM! There he was, lookin all handsome on one knee, holding my dream ring, asking for forever. I cried, he cried, Mekayla cried, pretty sure Zach cried. It was incredible :) 2nd Best Day
We cannot wait for you to witness and celebrate THE Best Day ever :) We Love You & Tis' The Season to be Married
