FAQs

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress attire for our wedding is Black Tie.

Question

WHAT DOES BLACK TIE REQUESTED MEAN?

Answer

For a Black Tie wedding, men are asked to wear a tuxedo, but it's not a requirement. Men can also wear a formal dark suit and tie instead. Women can go the long evening gown route, but a dressy suit or formal dress is fine too.

Question

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK? IS PARKING FREE?

Answer

Free parking is available for the ceremony. For the reception, valet parking is available at The Read House as well as street parking. If you prefer to leave your vehicle in one area, we recommend that our guests utilize ride-share services like Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony at our wedding. We politely request that all devices be turned off during the ceremony. Once we receive the professional images from our photographer after the wedding, we will be happy to send them to you! However, during our cocktail hour and reception, we would love for you to be able to take pictures and make memories. We want to be able to enjoy those memories as well; when posting to social media, use our wedding hashtag #happilyeverheisley

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we want our wedding to be your night off! Leave the kiddos at home and prepare to have a carefree night of fun celebrating with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Please send us your RSVPs no later than April 03, 2021. You can mail them back to us with the postage provided or RSVP through the "RSVP" tab on this site if that's easier for you. You will be able RSVP online as soon as our formal invitations are sent.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
