Our story began in the most unexpected place—behind the counter at Potato Corner in Ontario Mills, where a shared shift turned into something so much more. What began as just another job quickly turned into something way more meaningful. At first, it was casual—shared laughs, inside jokes, and finding excuses to work the same shifts. Before we knew it, we were spending more time together outside of work than behind the counter. Somewhere along the way, coworkers turned into best friends, and best friends turned into forever. As life moved forward, so did we. What started with scooping fries eventually turned into late-night study sessions, early mornings, and cheering each other on through nursing school. Side by side, we grew not only as a couple but as individuals, supporting one another every step of the way until we both became registered nurses—proof that we really do make a great team under pressure. As our story continued to unfold, it only felt right that the next big moment would happen in a place that meant so much to us—Laguna Beach, where we had our very first date. What she thought was just a sweet day by the ocean turned into one she’d never forget. With the waves crashing and the sunset showing off, he got down on one knee and asked the easiest question of his life. She said yes. What started with fries and friendship has turned into the greatest love story of our lives. Now we’re ready for our next adventure and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
