What does "Miami Chic" attire mean?

Answer

Miami Chic is cocktail attire, but keeping the climate and style of Miami in mind. Think "Relaxed-Cocktail" or "Fancy-Resort"- pretty dresses, flowy pants, lighter-weight suits. Leave the heavy fabrics at home... its warm here! Miami is tropical, so colorful prints and color in general are welcome.

Is this a Beach Wedding?

Answer

The Confidante is Beach-front, but we will NOT be getting married on the beach. Don't worry about getting sand in your shoes and wind in your hair!

Is there a Hotel Room Block?

Answer

We decided it was most fair to our guest to NOT do a room block. Although the Confidante is our first choice for all of our guests, it may not fit every budget. Miami Beach is full of hotels that fit every budget, and we think its important everyone has a choice in the matter! Please refer to our travel page on the site for recommendations, and definitely check travel search engines like Priceline and KAYAK for the best deals and prices! And book your travel as soon as possible, prices tend to go up as we get closer to the date.

Can I bring a plus one, or my children?

Please refer to your invitation and who it is addressed to- we will let you know specifically on who you can/can't bring! Of course, reach out to Shane or Leah privately if you need to answer your question after you received your invitation.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It's safe to say we won't be running on "Miami Time." Please make sure to be earlier than 5pm to grab your seat. We will start promptly at 5pm!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Everyone is on their own to get to the ceremony. Please take uber, a cab, or walk to the ceremony if your hotel is close enough! Once you're here, there is no change of location. For our local friends, please use public parking or valet! But if you plan on drinking, we recommend you take other means of transportation, like uber or have a designated driver.
