Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please have your RSVP in by August 31st, 2023. You may RSVP online, through this website, after invitations are sent. Please use the name printed on your invitation to RSVP, you will be able to RSVP for your whole party. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code for the wedding is Cocktail/Formal Attire. For the ladies, that means both short and long dresses as well as dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. For the men, that means a suit or sport coat. The dress code for other weekend events can be found on the "Schedule" page.

Question

Is transportation or a shuttle available

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided throughout Friday evening to and from the Homewood Suites. The first departure to the Welcome Party will be at 7:15pm and the final return trip will be at 10:30pm. Transportation will also be provided throughout the evening to and from the Homewood Suites for the Wedding. The first departure to the Wedding venue will be at 4:15pm and the final return trip will be at 10:15pm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we want to celebrate with all of our family and friends. Invited children will be listed on the invitations and RSVPs. That being said, there will be drinks, loud music, and plenty of dancing. We also won't judge you if you want a night to party without your kids.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a huge parking lot at the venue for those that are driving.

Question

Is the wedding going to be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held indoors. Texas weather is unpredictable, so we decided to play it safe.

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures at your wedding?

Answer

We would love to have an unplugged ceremony -- please do not take photos during the ceremony. We only get one chance to do this right, so let's leave the ceremony photos and video to the professionals we hired. You are free to take as many photos as you want during the cocktail hour and reception. In fact, feel free to post them on social media using #WaltersAtTheAltar
