One fine summer evening a long time ago, a young Eliezer and a young Tiphani met at a party. He said something slick to her and she made fun of his black shirt and blue shorts. From then on he was into her. She taught him how to eat sushi, and he put her onto some good music. Unfortunately, she moved to New York so they stayed friends. As the years went on, Tiphani pursued a career in fashion & marketing while experiencing the good, the bad, and the ugly of the city. Eliezer stayed in New Haven cultivating the music scene through events and a radio show eventually landing a job at Apple. As fate would have it, all of these years later, Eliezer gets a message from an old friend. Tiphani was back in town and wanted to congratulate Eliezer on his efforts. Excited, Eliezer invited her out to meet again, and she agreed. They met up and haven't left each other since.
One beautiful night Eliezer wanted to take Tiphani to her favorite restaurant, Caseus, so she could eat their mac n' cheese. Sounds simple, but this mac n' cheese was anything but simple. Little did Tiphani know that this night would change their lives forever. This was the week before they would leave to travel across the world, and Eliezer wanted Tiphani to know how amazing he thought she was. During dinner they spoke about their upcoming travels, the fun and the challenges they'd face, but never once did they think twice about leaving. Before dessert came, Eliezer left the table. When he came back he was holding dessert, creme brûlée, but clumsy as Eliezer is, he dropped the spoons. He bent down to grab the silverware, but it wasn't the only thing he brought back with him. In his hand was a ring! Astonished, Tiphani covered her face in a mixture of amazement and embarrassment, as Eliezer gave his speech and asked Tiphani to marry him. He wanted her to not only join him traveling across the world but to also travel through life together as well. She said yes, he smiled, she cried, and their friend took their pictures. They packed up later that week and started the journey of the rest of their lives together.
