falling in love...

Sam and Madison met at California State University- Sacramento in one of their communications classes. They had previously talked online for a few weeks but nothing ever came of it, until Madison walked into class months later only to find Sam sitting in the back of the class. The next class, Sam moved seats in order to sit behind Madison and get her attention. The two talked after class for a bit, then Madison's friend dared her to add him on Instagram, to which Sam almost immediately accepted the request and they began messaging. Their first date had to be postponed until after Sam came back from a family Hawaii trip, but the two talked constantly and were inseparable once he came back! Clearly this whole strategy worked well for Sam, as they’ve been together ever since!

Sam proposed on their four year anniversary at the happiest place on earth... Disneyland! On September 12th, 2022, Sam got down on one knee in front of the flower bed by the Disneyland Railroad Train Station. Sam had gotten the okay from Madison's dad, her grandmother's ring from her mom, and shared the exciting news with practically everyone in the world! They were all great secret keepers! Sam had gotten special assistance as well from two of Madison's best friends during the couple's trip to keep her occupied, get the engagement on video, and even hid custom shirts for the newly engaged couple! It was truly the happiest day at the happiest place on earth!
