Ray and Cody met in college playing football at Aurora University. They ended up becoming best friends and eventually roommates, only to find that they actually played against each other in high school. Ray’s father became Cody’s position coach as well, which built the relationship even more. Ray is considered a second son in the Lane household, and Cody is dubbed the “favorite child” in the DiMatteo household.
Samantha Anderson

Sam and Alex met playing travel softball for the Mt. Prospect Power in 8th grade. They quickly became the best of friends thanks to their silly antics and Sam’s ability to laugh at anything Alex said. We are forever reminiscing on the good-old-days of travel ball and our countless memories made together.
Jimmy Tinaglia

Jimmy and Cody met up north at the Tinaglia Lake House around a romantic burnt-out campfire and bonded over trucks, weight lifting, and girls (HA). Jimmy pushed Cody to date his sister for months. One day, Jimmy and Cody went to the gym together, and afterward, Jimmy brought him over to show him his dad’s cool new truck….but that’s where Alex was. Sneaky, sneaky. Jimmy and Cody have a lot in common, from having the same job title to riding snowmobiles on the weekends.
Cassidy Moore

Cassidy is truly the little sister Alex never had. The two met on the Club Softball team at Iowa State, and easily became close. Cassidy lived in Lisbon, Iowa where she was able to demonstrate to Alex what it really means to be a farmer. These two are attached at the hip, loud, and proud about it!
Nick Tinaglia

Nick and Cody met up north at the Tinaglia Lake House and became very close after spending a long guys’ weekend together along with his older brother Jimmy. That weekend was a test to see if Cody was worthy to date his sister, and he passed with flying colors. Especially after surviving one of the largest breakfasts of his entire life.
Sara McDermand

Sara and Alex also met on the Club Softball Team at Iowa State. We learned that we most likely had played against each other growing up, as Sara is from Lake Zurich, so that sparked a beautiful friendship. The two were both involved in the Animal Science program at ISU, as well as roommates for their senior year. Alex is forever grateful to Sara for forcing her go to the Dan + Shay concert with her….one of the best nights ever!
Mike Perry

Mike and Cody became close friends sophomore year of college. After competing against each other through the football off-season, their relationship grew over their love of cars and the two became roommates their junior year of college.
Erin Horne

Alex and Erin grew up together, literally from diapers to now. Erin is Alex’s oldest friend and will always remember going back and forth from house to house after school for play dates and dance parties. Though distance keeps these two apart most of the time, when they reunite, it is as if they were never separated.

Kam and Cody met freshman year of college. Initially, they both had the same impression of one another….”weak.” It wasn’t until they both dealt with injuries that they leaned on one another through the hardships of football and college.
Brittany Tinaglia

Brittany is Alex’s cousin who has spent almost every waking moment with her. Sharing a summer-home growing up, living two blocks away from each other, locker buddies in high school, and now part of the most important day of Alex’s life.
Alec Juda

Alec and Cody go way back. Cody knew Alec before he was born and he took to him like a little brother. Alec always thought Cody was his cousin growing up, until his mother had to tell him he was only a close family friend. This brought Alec to tears, but the relationship between the two has never changed.
