Tyler says it was coincidence. Tina says it was fate. Either way, their story began at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they just happened to sit next to each other and partnered up for Physics 180 Lab (as so many do). What started as shared notes and study sessions quickly turned into friendship and then something more (as it so often does). Through earning their college degrees, time spent apart during Tyler’s deployment to Poland, and every challenge and milestone in between—they never stopped choosing each other. Along the way, they built a life full of shared adventures to include bowling nights with questionable technique, Tina learning dirt biking and fishing from Tyler, and Tyler gaining unexpected expertise in gossip and pop culture thanks to Tina. Their home is filled with love (and a little chaos) with their two cats, Fleefer and Chairman Meow, proving they make a pretty great team both in and out of the lab. Years later, they’re still partners in everything that matters, which is proof that Physics 180 got at least one thing exactly right.
