Nick and I met at Djais in 2018. We knew of each other from friends but never crossed paths until that summer. We always had the most fun when we were together! Summer came to an end and Nick said “ I want to still see you.” My response was “ take me on a date.” Our first date was Robinson Ale house in Asbury. We continued to see each other and he attended my best friend Alexandra’s wedding as my date. From that night on I knew he was the one. Fast forward to the great year of 2020, Nick proposed to me at my favorite beach Avon. My friend Sam had called me saying that she just took her Christmas card pictures and the guy was available 09/20/20. Sure enough the day we’re getting ready I’m seeing if Nick was acting weird or was doing anything out of the ordinary but he was cool as a cucumber lol. We get to the beach we start getting ready for some pictures and Kenny (our dog) tries going after some birds which pulls nick in the opposite direction. I’m trying my best not to laugh and Nick was not having it … as he was nervous enough to purpose. Fast forward we take a couple of pictures and the camera guy says “ Kenny’s bowtie is throwing a glare into the camera.” I’m completely confused like that is a thing .. okay. I start yanking the bow off and nick hands me a folded up bandana. The wind was so bad that day it kept spinning and spinning and spinning. Finally it unravels and says “ Will you marry my dad.” Of course I started crying and said “YES!” And so our next chapter of our relationship started . We only saw two venues before we decided that Renault was for us! We can’t say enough how truly beautiful the grounds are! We can’t WAIT to celebrate with you all !!
