Our Story
We met the modern way—on Hinge—but the timing felt like fate. Nathan was camping and just barely showed up in my radius.
We matched on August 11, 2022, and clicked right away. Almost a week later, on August 17, we met in person for our first date at 1909.
Nathan planned the date and was kind, thoughtful, and caring in how he did it. On the date, he mentioned starting a new birthday tradition of taking photos with everyone he meets, so we took one. Weeks later, I found out his birthday had been just three days earlier—and that the “tradition” was really just a clever ruse to take a photo with me.
Though we lived over an hour apart, we made it work. We met in Temecula often, explored new spots together, and always made time for each other.
On September 4, he asked me to be his girlfriend. A few weeks later, we said “I love you,” and meant it.
Since then, not a single day has passed without us talking. From a simple Hinge match to something lasting—we wouldn’t change a thing.
