I believe Lance added me on Facebook, but we didn't really talk. I met him in person at the Moua Valentine's Day party in Seattle February of 2013. The one thing that I remember til this day is his SMILE that definitely caught my eye and could not keep my eyes off of his the remainder of that night. I even went up to him while he was hanging out with his friends and had asked him to dance with me. He had our first date planned to go to Seattle but I decided to go babysit my coworker son that day and he came along (so sweet of him) and I remember that day was cold, cloudy and raining we decided to watch a movie at my co workers house and sat on the couch cuddling and he then asked "will yo go out with me?" and oh my gosh I couldn't believe what he was asking me because he was all I ever wanted LOL and of course I said "yea" and we made it all the way to 7 years together going onto 8 years in May but boy we have come a long way and been to many obstacles and now we can say we are OFFICIALLY husband and wife.

My older sister Tiffany had asked us on our sibling group chat that she was going to have my brother in law cousin Sheng do a sibling photoshoot for Mother's Day since it was coming up and had scheduled for us sisters to get our nails done that Friday but I didn't think much of it since my older sister Tiffany had always asked me to go with her to get her nails filled and most times offered to pay for mine so why not right.?! Lance had made a comment to me saying that he was going to have photos done for his mom and I didn't mind but then he had said that he had wanted photos with his close cousins Xeev and Nkao and that definitely made me question him "Why would you get professional photos done with your cousins? that's just weird." he responded saying " there's nothing wrong with getting pictures done with my close cousins." I even went to work the next day and told my co workers that he was going to propose that weekend and they had told me not to have my hopes up since they knew it probably wasn't going to happen. Sunday came around that week and boy was it cold and windy but the sun was out and bright that day I remember getting ready making sure my hair and makeup was on point just in case he was going to propose when we go to the place do do our photos Sheng the photographer had done family photos first then did couple and of course we were the last couple to get our photos taken, Sheng had said that she wanted to try a new pose and had me turn around to look towards the water which meant my back was facing towards everyone. I remember saying to myself in my head " this fool better be on his knee when I turn around" since this pose was a common proposal pose (hehe) and when I turned around he was on his knee and he was so nervous that you could hear it in his voice which I thought was cute since he always told me he was never going to get nervous because he knew I would say yes, I turned around and said "oh my gosh really?!" and said "YES!"
