Walt Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth! Or so they say… I’ll leave that decision to you if you decide to check it out! Walt Disney World is truly that. A whole world, roughly 43 square miles, over 25,000 acres! Filled with 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 4 golf courses, shopping, dining, and so so so many Hotels and Villas! Clearwater Beach is a beautiful white sand, clear water beach! Located west on the Gulf Coast, roughly 2 hours away from Mystic Dunes Resort, it’s a nice area to shop, dine, swim, and watch a beautiful sunset.
Cocoa Beach is a fun little getaway to the East Coast, about an hour and 20 from Mystic Dunes Resort. It offers sun, sand, big waves, drinks, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment! Right next to Port Canaveral and NASA, there’s always something to see in Cocoa! Ask Dom about his favorite restaurant in cocoa to watch the cruise ships float by with a drink in hand!
SeaWorld is a great amusement park if you’re looking to see huge aquariums full of sea life, ride rollercoasters, dine with orcas, you name it! They will have Halloween events during the time you’ll be here in Orlando.
Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, the Citywalk in between the two, and Volcano Bay are all yet another form of amusement here in Orlando! If you choose to venture to Universal, you will walk through the Citywalk full of bars, restaurants, shops, clubs, mini golf, the CineMark - a movie theatre offering the XD experience, and much more! I guarantee it’s a great time! Volcano Bay is Universals Water Park! The biggest water park here in Orlando, offering 2 different lazy rivers, multiple rides and slides, and plenty of places for relaxation and refreshments! AQUATICA is a cheaper route to go if you still want to enjoy a water park for a decent price.
Want to try your luck? The Seminole Hard Rock and Casino is very spacious, and beautiful might I add. Located in Tampa, around 1.5 hours from Mystic Dunes Resort (1 hour for toll road), the casino has 245,000 sq ft of gaming space, from slots, to card tables, to live action poker. It also showcases Hard Rock music memorabilia throughout the spacious atmosphere. Open 24 hours, it is truly a fun night out!
Wekiwa Springs is a natural spring that is absolutely beautiful! If you want to take a dip in a natural pool then this is your spot! Picnic areas, bathroom access, canoe/kayak launch/rental, and lots of room to swim in fresh water, this wonderful place is about 40 minutes away from Mystic Dunes Resort.
