We first were classmates all throughout school. We went our seperate ways and lived seperate lives until 22 years later on April 20, 2018. We both went to Wick's in New Albany to hear The Juice Box Heros play. He was on a date and I was there with my cousins, Kimberly and Scott Hutt, as well as some other friends. We were seeing a lot of people we knew that we hadn't seen in quite a while. Jeremy was one of those people. Not being friends in school and really never even talking to each other, I decided I wanted to say hello and to see what he had been up to all those years. So Kimberly and I did just that and it was obvious it took him a little bit to actually remember me, lol! The conversation lasted about 5 minutes and we went our seperate ways once again. A couple of weeks later, he messaged me on Facebook but we only said a couple of things regarding the Juice Box Heros and then crickets, lol. Weeks after that, he messaged Kimberly and asked about me. We ended up talking and decided to go out as friends as I wasn't wanting a relationship just then. But after several dates, time spent hanging out and lots of patience on Jeremy's part, I realized he was someone that you don't find everyday and a beautiful relationship finally developed.
We were on vacation in Panama City Beach with Jeremy's girls and Riley and The Hutt's. Kimberly and Scott took all the kids so Jeremy and I could have a date night and we were to repay the favor another night. We went to dinner at my favorite place in PCB, Dusty's Oyster Bar. Jeremy had never been so I was excited to take him there. We got right in which is hard to do as it's always a packed house. Had great food and a great time, and he loved it. It was all so perfect. After dinner, we walked the beach in which we had all to ourselves! No one was in sight for miles. He started talking about me and us and things that I want to hold just between us and then he turned to me, got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him! Of course I said yes! And yes, he had gotten my parent's blessing ahead of time, in which my whole immediate family knew about, and waited for the time it was to happen. They were happy it was finally out lol.
