Magnificent stone structure - worth going inside to have a drink and/or bite to eat and take in the setting sun on the expansive outdoor seating area. Just below the Inn, on the same property is the interesting Grovewood Village - check it out!

The Pisgah Inn, on the Blue Ridge Parkway, offers an amazing 180 degree mountain view - only if it's a clear day! They have take away sandwiches, snacks, drinks (wine too), or a beautiful and delicious lunch!

Asheville's most well-known attraction - the largest house in the country! You need reservations for a house tour, but not if just viewing the grounds. AND there's currently a Chihuly exhibit (extra charge)!!! Not to be missed!

Downtown Asheville is a whole lotta fun all ways around - LaZoom Comedy Bus, tons of breweries, tons of galleries and shops, The Grove Arcade (shops + dining), The Woolworth Building (arts), pinball museum, champagne book store, Mast General Store... Explore Asheville is the site for all things - and pick up all the brochures along your way - especially at the airport baggage claim - a huge brochure display! Have fun - fun is good!
