Museum of the Rockies

Close enough for a day trip and wildlife sightings are all but guaranteed. Just don't get gored by a buffalo! Seriously it happens every year

Yellowstone National Park

Summer mountain biking, zip lining, hiking... It's hard to keep up with all the options. For mountain biking ride the free shuttle from the Meadow and ride "Mountains to Meadows trail" back to your car.

Big Sky Resort

Great spot to escape the heat on hot days. Swimming and non-motorized boating on Hyalite reservoir. Our favorite hike is Heather/Emerald lake passing numerous waterfalls to a beautiful pair of alpine lakes.

Hyalite Canyon

Looking for another way to beat the heat? This is a mellow class II- tube run 1 hour west of town.

Madison River Tubing

Great place to soak and cold plunge after a long day out on the trails.

Bozeman Hot Springs

Awesome low key pizza restaurant inside the Emerson along with cool art galleries and an auditorium if you want to catch a documentary.

Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture

Nice walk in the heart of Bozeman where dogs run happy and free! Close to library, downtown, and is a great spot to watch the sunset!
