Just when we were about to give up on love, God had a different plan. A last ditch attempt at online dating led to a connection like neither of us had felt before. In fact, I (Tina) was so sick of trying to find THE ONE, I deleted my online profiles before Alex and I even met in person, and decided this was my last try and then I was giving up. I showed up at Starbucks to meet Alex, probably 15 minutes late, fully expecting to be disappointed and cut the date short. When I saw him, I immediately regretted my outfit choice, lack of makeup or attempt to look nice and how late I was. Within 5 minutes, I knew he would be someone I would cherish, even if we just ended up as friends. About two hours into the date, I was so interested in him, and wondered if he felt the same way. Shortly after, he was touching my arm and I knew he was in this with me. Four hours later, I left the date knowing 100% that I had just met the man I was going to marry. I even texted a few friends and family members later that night telling them I met my husband. Many of them were skeptical LOL!! There isn't enough room to include the details, but I will tell you it was the best first date to start the rest of my life. Thank you Alex, for choosing me; I look forward to making you proud of that decision every day for the rest of my life.
