Dear Friends and Family, As our previous email had mentioned, COVID definitely changed things for everyone and especially for our original wedding plans, but what it didn't change was what this day really meant for us so we are moving forward with a small intimate wedding ceremony with just immediate family and wedding party. While we're sad we won't be able to have you all there with us, we're excited to be able to share this day with all of you! Please join us virtually and take a front row seat to our wedding ceremony on October 23rd, 2020. The ceremony will start at 4:30pm (PST). We're so excited to be able to share this day of love with all of you, and while we had wished so much to be able to have everyone there with us in person to celebrate, we know you will all be there in spirit and we are so thankful for that. The links to our Ceremony Live Feed are now posted on our Events page. Don’t forget to set a reminder for yourself if you plan to watch live. Thank you all so much for all the love and support we've gotten on this journey. "See you" all on the big day! Love, Tina and Chris
Our dearest friends and family, Unfortunately the global pandemic has forced us to postpone perhaps our biggest milestone yet - our wedding - twice. We have thought long and hard about when and how we can have the wedding of our dreams. Ultimately we realized that we did not want to lose sight of what is most important to us, beginning the next chapter of our lives together. We have made the decision to move forward with the very small, intimate wedding ceremony that San Diego will allow. Of course this is not what we originally envisioned, and we are so disappointed not to be able to share this beautiful moment with all of you in person, but we will look forward to a future celebration when we can all be together again. Thank you all for all the continued love and support during these crazy times, it has meant so much to us and reminds us how lucky we are to have each other and to have so many amazing friends and family. Love, Chris and Tina
Dear Friends and Family, We were cautiously optimistic about having the wedding in July, but we have decided to postpone to October 23, 2020. Even as things begin to slowly reopen, we did not want anyone to feel uncomfortable about traveling or gathering. Obviously we want this day to be a great experience for everyone. Again, we are hoping we can all enjoy a weekend together this year, but we will continue to be flexible if we need to postpone to next summer. Given the second postponement, we have decided to clear the RSVPs and give everyone another opportunity to RSVP. We ask that you please RSVP by September 14, 2020. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
The show must go on! Please save our new date and join us in celebrating our wedding on July 24th, 2020. If you have not already RSVP'd, please respond on our website by June 28th. If you have already RSVP'd for our prior date, please review the new dates for events, you may make changes as needed. Please know that while we are very hopeful of this new date, we are prepared to postpone again if it becomes necessary. We will keep you updated on any changes. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. Crossing our fingers that we will be able to see everyone for a beautiful summer in San Diego! 100 days to go, let the countdown begin (again) :)
With the continuation of travel and shelter at home restrictions and for the health and safety of our guests, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. We are currently working on securing a new date and will keep you updated when we have more details. If you have any questions in reference to travel and/or accommodations you may have already booked, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you so much for all your patience and support during this time.
To Our Friends and Family, We know that COVID-19 has been at the top of everyone's minds these past weeks. We have been watching as the world has been changing, day by day, during these extraordinary times. We are hopeful that by the time our wedding day comes around, things will settle down and the health and safety of those close to us will not be at risk. Yet, despite our hopes, we cannot predict the future, let alone what may happen tomorrow. At this time we are extending our RSVP deadline to April 19th to allow additional time to assess the progress of this situation. We will continue to monitor and reassess the outlook of our day as we near this new deadline and post updates here on our site. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to the day that we can all come together and celebrate, safely. To all our friends and family, we hope you stay safe and healthy! Lots of love, Tina and Chris
