Airport Travel

If you are flying in, the two closest airports are San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). They are about equidistance, but SFO is a bigger airport and has more destinations. If you are flying in from outside of North America, you will want to fly into SFO. As for getting to and from the airport to the venue or surrounding hotels, your best affordable option is the Marin Airporter which will pick up and drop off both at SFO or OAK for $30. You will then want to get off at either Anderson Drive San Rafael or Larkspur Landing. Anderson Drive is slightly closer to the venue, but may be further from your accommodation. From your drop off point, you can take a $10 uber/lyft or get a cab called for by the airporter. You can buy a ticket online or pay in cash. For a direct route or you're traveling in a group, Uber and Lyfts are available at SFO airport around $70-$130 and are usually cheaper than taxis. If you are renting a car, both SFO and OAK have car rentals available nearby with a free shuttle.

Hotel

AC Hotel San Rafael

This Marriott hotel is a 10 minute drive or uber/lyft ride from the venue. It is the closest large hotel to the venue. It has a nice rooftop bar and restaurant and is in close walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants in San Rafael.
