Sometimes the best love stories begin in the most unexpected ways. We actually met thanks to Melissa, who Yasmin met on Bumble BFF, ironically an app meant for finding new friends and not someone to date. She had no idea at the time that this friendship would lead her to the person she would one day marry. Our paths first crossed at a local bar in St. Louis, where we met up to watch a Florida football game. Melissa mentioned she had invited a friend who went to school with her husband, Zach, and that friend happened to be Tim. After the game, everyone headed back to Zach and Melissa’s house, where the conversation turned to dream vacations. By coincidence (or maybe fate) we both said we’d love to visit Northern Italy, specifically Lake Como. Two years later, that dream came full circle when Tim proposed at Villa Melzi in Lake Como. Between that first day and our engagement, we’ve shared countless adventures, from celebrating Oktoberfest, visiting Christmas pop-up bars to travels that have taken us across Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Texas, Mexico, and Italy. Every experience brought us closer together, and now we’re ready to keep the adventures going for a lifetime.
