It was July of 2017 when Stephanie and Blake's love story first began. After their first date at the Renaissance in Reno, NV, they never stopped talking even though they were thousands of miles apart. Stephanie in Reno and Blake in Virginia Beach. Traveling has always been an important part of their relationship. From the beaches of Hawaii, to the streets of Vancouver, Canada, and the hills of the Appalachia Mountains. They both have a weakness for National Parks. Crater Lake, Olympic, Mt. Rainier, and North Cascades are just a few of their favorites. After months of doing long distance together and multiple trips to visit each other, there is one trip that stands out the most and changed both of their lives. In August of 2018, Stephanie visited Blake on Whidbey Island, WA. As usual, they had a nice dinner planned at Christopher's in Coupeville, WA. Little did Stephanie know, it wouldn't be a normal dinner date, but rather a celebratory dinner with champagne waiting for her. On the way to the restaurant, Blake convinced Stephanie there were whale sightings along Ft. Casey. They made a pitstop to look at the "whales". Low and behold, while Stephanie was looking for "whales" through binoculars, Blake called out, "there is a whale back here." As Stephanie turned around, he was on one knee asking her to marry him. Of course she said yes, and a few months later she and Kaia moved out to join Blake on Whidbey. We are so excited to share our special moment and celebrate with our friends and family in the Summer of 2020!! We cannot wait for the memories to come!
