Our venue has parking, so guests are welcome to drive and park there. For those who would prefer to not drive, we'll have a shuttle running to and from our room block at the Mimslyn Inn to the venue. We'll have two shuttles in advance of the ceremony and then running on a loop as the reception starts to get late.
Yes! Guests who are traveling in on Friday night are welcome to join us for a welcome reception at the Mimslyn Inn (check back closer to the date on the time). We'll also have a Sunday brunch for interested guests at the Mimslyn Inn (again, please check back closer to the date for the time).
It's an almost-summer wedding (and we're hoping for warm but not too warm weather), so not-black-tie but elegant garden party attire (semi-formal). So, for the gents, light-colored suits or khakis and a sport coat. For the women, dresses - probably something floral/more spring-y in color and not too flashy since it's afternoon and outside. The Saturday reception will hopefully be outside, weather-permitting, and there is grass and gravel, so keep that in mind with your shoe selection! For Friday, similar but slightly dressed down (more cocktail) and Sunday can be pretty casual!
