Tim was my older brother's roommate in college. We met at a gaming party my older brother orchestrated on campus. At first, Tim and I didn't talk much but we eventually came to know each other better through group chats and my occasional visits over the holidays. Later on, when I transferred to the same college as my older brother, Tim and I got to hang out during group activities with our college friends. But right before my first semester on campus Tim left college to join the Air Force. We stayed in touch but didn't talk frequently until I heard that he was stationed in Japan. I sent him a message asking about how he was enjoying Japan because I am passionate about the country and culture. We started talking a lot more after that and we found that we had many things in common. About a year or two later on Christmas, we began dating virtually. Our relationship continued to grow as we played co-op games online or chatted while he walked home from work. After retiring from the Air Force he came to live nearby in Kentucky. On October of 2023, he asked me to marry him in the Japanese Gardens at Creation Museum since Japan is what brought us together. Now, we hope to have the pleasure of your company as we celebrate our union!
