Wedding Party

Meet our wedding party!

Jennesa Borodkin

Maid of Honor

We met at our Physical Therapy interview and connected instantly over our faith and pursuit to become physical therapists. We both got into Sacred Heart and lived together all throughout PT school and shared many memories through the toughest years of our lives. Jennesa has the kindest soul and has shown me what true genuine friendship is. She has been there through the highs and the lows and allowed me to be 100% myself. Jennesa was there from the beginning of Tim and I's relationship and has shared such a special bond not only with me but with both Tim and I.

Andrew Heath

Best Man

We have been friends since 3rd grade and met through our parents at church when I first moved to Connecticut. We found out we lived next to each other and our parents set up play dates. From pick up basketball games to late night parties Andrew and I have always been great friends. We have a friendship that will continue to last through the years.

Emily Kiss

Matron of Honor

I met Emily through skype when she gave both Jennesa and I a tour of the house we were thinking about living in for PT school. We finally met in person once I moved to Connecticut and we hit it off instantly! At first she was quite intimidating but quickly learned Emily is quite the character. Emily always brings this certain type of energy that can make everyone smile and laugh and we had quite the memories living together through PT school (i'm sure a lot of you saw through snapchat!) Through the toughness of PT school and the start of Tim and I's relationship she has been there and continues to be there through these next phases of life.

Daniel McArthur

Groomsman

Ever since being a little kid I always wanted a younger brother. When my mom and dad first told me that Dan was on the way I was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to be an older brother. It has been an incredible privilege to watch him and our relationship grow over the years.

Ariel Branden

Bridesmaid

I met Ariel in PT school where we connected instantly over our love of physical therapy, the American physical therapy association, and advocacy! I was so fortunate to have a clinical in Salt Lake City, UT with Ariel and had so many adventures that I hold dearly to my heart. She has helped me to navigate obstacles in my career and personal life. I continue to cherish this special friendship.

Damon McArthur

Groomsman

Damon was always the coolest older brother in my eyes growing up. Every time he would come home it would be a party and an excuse to stay up longer just to get to see him. As we have grown older and our relationship has matured he has been such an outstanding mentor.

Sydney McLelland

Bridesmaid

I met Sydney when Tim and I lived in St. Louis. It originally started when I met her husband Charlie at the dog park! Sydney hadn't lived in St. Louis at the time, but when she finally moved there we became friends quickly. We had many game nights, bachelorette watch parties, camping, and adventures with our dogs. We all live in Virginia now and are so honored to have both her and Charlie in our wedding!

Charlie McLelland

Groomsman

Initially Lindsey told me about Charlie when she would go to the dog park with Doc when we lived in St. Louis. It was a few days later when I actually got to meet him. We connected pretty quickly because of the similar phases were at in our lives. Since then we’ve had some enjoyable bonding time together with both our fiancé’s/wives and have both grown to be there for each other through our up’s and down’s.

Cassie Woodcock

Bridesmaid

Cassie and I met through mutual friends that we met at the dog park in Ann Arbor, MI. Our dogs became instant friends and we spent many times at the dog park. We've connected deeply over our love of science and working out. We continue to workout through facetime 5-6x a week! She was a huge support and great friend throughout the toughest part of my career.

Matthew Richichi

Groomsman

I remember first hearing about Chichi going into 5th grade and knowing that he was a friend of a friend. I didn’t know what to expect but quickly found out that he was quite the character to say the least. Ever since then we have had an incredible friendship remained in contact with each other no matter the geographic location.

Mary Leopold

Bridesmaid

I met Mary in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The first time we met she walked into the dog park with scrubs on and I found out she was a fellow physical therapist! We both knew we were going to be solid friends from that point on. Both Tim and I connected so quick with Mary and spent so many fun nights out together when we first moved to Michigan. Mary's enthusiasm for life is infectious and she brings so much joy to my life! She was a rock throughout residency and our friendship continues to grow even from afar!

Brandon Homer

Groomsman

We first met when we were Sophomores in high school. I had known of him but had never actually met him. We developed a relationship over different sports/mutual friends and grew closer once we graduated to move on to college. Ever since then we continued to stay in contact and build on our relationship while walking through life together.

Karen Jansen

Bridesmaid

Karen and I met at the dog park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Karen and I spent many many hours chatting it up about life, work, and relationships in the dog park. Our friendship initially started at the dog park and continued to blossom into a deeply connected friendship. Our adventures to the beach, game nights, birthday celebrations, river floats, holidays, and porch nights are something I will always cherish! Karen is that one friend that will show up no matter the time of day and drop everything for you. I am so grateful for this friendship and her support through my residency!

Andy Smietana

Groomsman

Andy and I met while in PT school. We were actually on a trip to do a class bonding activity when we first started graduate school together. We ended up sitting next to each other and from there we really connected. While in PT school we helped each other get through one of the most difficult 3 year stretches of our lives. Through this challenging stretch in our lives we built a friendship that will last a life time.

Gillian McLean

Bridesmaid

Gillian and I met at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) conference in San Antonio, Texas back in 2017. Gillian inspired me and was always so energetic about all things PT. We connected on our passions for involvement and networking with others. We both served on the Student Assembly Board of Directors and through that year went through so much that brought us very close! We've both supported each other through residency and our continued career and life goals! I'm so honored to have her stand next to me!

Austin McAlonan

Groomsman

Going to Kansas for the first time was nerve raking enough let alone having to meet Lindsey’s entire family!!! Austin was one of the first people who I had met who helped me to feel comfortable but also introduce me to the different life style he lived in Kansas compared to my life in Connecticut. He has always been supportive of Linds and I’s relationship. We have also grown closer through our love for music and talks about life. Since that time he has been an awesome friend and someone who I look forward to as having as a brother-in-law

Ariana Jones

Bridesmaid

I met Ariana at one of our American Physical Therapy Association Conferences, and pretty sure we met through Gillian. The first time I met Ariana I thought to myself, this girl is a firecracker with so much passion for life, laughter, and alcohol! She is one of the most candid people I've ever met and honestly it's what drew me towards her! Her and I connected over our love for APTA and getting involved. We both served on the Student Assembly Board of Directors together and through that our friendship grew. Ariana has shown me constant support through my professional and personal life. I can't wait to have her next to me on this special day!

Eric McAlonan

Groomsman

Meeting Eric for the first time was when he was going through a lot of transitions in his life (buying a place of his own, getting a dog, and buying a new vehicle). Since that moment I knew he was mature beyond his years and our relationship would grow to be something great. Eric has always welcomed me with open arms and has included me in any activities he does with his friends when Linds and I are visiting Victoria. This has allowed our relationship to grow. Eric has been someone who I can confidently say will be the cool uncle for our kids to look up to.
