Formal cocktail attire but we are choosing to call it campfire cocktail attire because it sounds so much cuter!
While the wedding itself is traditional formal wedding attire, we will definitely have some festive Halloween/ fall treats and surprises!
The Rochester (ROC) airport is closest and will be easy to access Camp Stella Maris (the reception) via ride shares such as uber and lyft. Other airports within a further driving distance include Syracue and Buffalo. *There are multiple Rochester airports. Please ensure you are searching for Rochester, NY (ROC)
We are so excited to celebrate with all of you! We want to give everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a date night, so we suggest finding a baby sitter for our Saturday ceremony and reception. Please bring the kids on Friday and back on Sunday to enjoy the additional activities with us! We also understand that leaving the kids at home can be a barrier to attending, especially for those of you traveling across the country. Our goal is to celebrate with all of our loved ones, so if that is the case, please let us know and we will make sure to accommodate families as needed!
If your invitation says "and Guest," we would love for you to bring a date! If not, we kindly ask that just you attend.
Late October in western New York is typically crisp/chilly. Expect daytime highs in the 50s and nighttime lows dipping into the 30s. All cabins and buildings will be heated.
We have reserved the entire camp for the weekend! You are welcome to stay on-site in the rustic, bunk-bed style cabins for free on Friday and Saturday night. Once again, we will try to separate families into private and semi-private rooms on shared floors and friend groups into larger cabins.
We completely understand! If having a private bathroom is needed, we recommend booking a room at the Roadway Inn- Lakeville or looking into more options in Geneseo, NY. Local Airbnbs in the surrounding Livonia and Finger Lakes area are also a great option.
Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at the camp!
Guests are free to arrive any time on Friday. Your room will be available all day. A welcome dinner will be provided on Friday night.
We will be hosting a welcome dinner on Friday, continental brunch Saturday, the wedding reception appetizers and dinner on Saturday - followed by a late night snack, as well as a farewell brunch on Sunday. For other meals, please feel free to bring your own camp-friendly food or visit local spots in town!
It’s a camp weekend! We’ll have lawn games, pumpkin painting/carving, hiking trails open, campfires, and possibly karaoke?? You'll have to attend to see the full list of weekend activities :)
We don't plan on supplanting Halloween as the most famous thing about October 31st, but this should over take the admission of Nevada to the Union as the 36th state back in 1864. (Tim clearly wrote this one)
