Best Man
Jose, or Lito as most people know him, has been one of my closest friends for over 10 years. Even though he now lives down in North Carolina, distance has never changed the kind of friend he is. He has always had my back and has always been just one call away no matter what was going on. He has seen me at my worst and at my best, and he has been a constant through it all. Lito is the kind of person you can rely on without ever having to question it. When it came time to plan one of the biggest moments of my life, my proposal, he and his wife Brooke were right there helping make it happen. That says everything about the kind of people they are. There is no one I trust more to stand next to me today. I’m proud to call him my best friend, my brother and honored to have him as my best man.

Dave, or “Short” as some of us call him, has also been one of my close friends for nearly 10 years. Even though he lives out in Buffalo and is a die-hard Sabres fan, while I’m over here supporting the Penguins, I still give him a pass and keep him around. Dave has always been someone who’s easy to be around and always down for anything. No matter what we’re doing, you know it’s going to be a good time when he’s there. Over the years, we’ve made a lot of great memories, and he’s been a big part of them. He’s the kind of friend you don’t have to see every day to know he’s always in your corner.
