Question

How do I get to the wedding location?

Answer

Located 9.7 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon, State Highway 190, (on the right) on the right hand side of the Big Cottonwood Canyon. For more detailed directions, we would suggest using google maps (just type in Spruces Campground as your destination). To get to the Spruces Campground from I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Boulevard. Take Wasatch Boulevard a mile south to the junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 190. Make a left at the junction and travel up Big Cottonwood Canyon 9.7 miles to the campground. As you get close look for the signs!

I've made it to Spruces, where can I park?

Answer

We encourage guests to carpool as parking will be limited. We have 4 lots that guests are able to park in. There are 3 lots that are closest to the reception and ceremony, and the main parking area that is located as you turn off the main road into Spruces. We're in the mountains! What do we wear!?

Answer

We’re getting married in the mountains, we are calling it "Mountain Casual", it's business casual, but name changed for the great outdoors! Formal attire is not required! Feel free to dress in whatever makes you comfortable (but please no jeans). For example, a dress shirt and khakis, or a spring skirt and sweater would be lovely. We are outside, so you might want to bring something to throw on when the sun goes down!
