It all started on Hinge in late 2023 – Brooke was living in Connecticut and preparing for a fresh start in High Point, North Carolina. Tim was living in Florida and preparing for a move to the neighboring town of Greensboro, North Carolina. When Brooke and Tim matched, they hit it off instantly. Brooke was initially drawn to Tim for his humor, tattoos and genuine vibe. Tim was drawn to Brooke for her smile and beauty. From their very first chat, they were able to grow and build the foundation of their relationship through early mornings and late nights of texting. Fast forward to January 4th of 2024, Brooke and Tim had their first date at Hidden Gate Brewery in Greensboro, NC. To say both of them were nervous was an understatement. Brooke was on time and Tim was on time... until a train stop made him run late! Brooke was sitting inside waiting for Tim. When he looked through the windows and saw Brooke for the first time, Tim thought she was gorgeous and loved watching her take in the world around her. He could tell that she was a genuine person just based on looking at her. Their connection was incredibly effortless and fun. They spent the whole night talking until the brewery was ready to close. At the end of their first date, Brooke asked Tim what his plans were for her birthday happening ten days later. That was their start of forever! Brooke and Tim quickly became best friends and realized they had each had found their person. Tim first realized he was in love with Brooke during a date they had in Charlotte, NC seeing one of Tim’s favorite comedians. They rented electric scooters to drive around the city, which was a brand new experience for Brooke! She was so excited that she kept screaming with joy the entire time – needless to say she was having a blast. Tim knew from that moment that he loved this woman. Brooke first realized she was in love with Tim not in one moment, but a series of moments that showed her what true love, comfort, trust, and support looks like.
