Timothy and Kaitlyn met in Dallas Texas at Deloitte University. Recent graduates from college and at the start of their careers, they were at a new hire training with 1,000 other new employees from across the country. In this hopeless yet exciting place, mutual friend, Daniella, asked Kaitlyn if she wanted to meet other guys from the New York office. She then introduced Kaitlyn to Timothy and Joe. Some argue that Kaitlyn knew it was love at first site, but the truth of that statement is still unknown. Mid-way through dinner the boys had little to say and Kaitlyn made a wise remark that they needed a drink. One whiskey later, to no one’s surprise, Kaitlyn was right and Timothy could not stop talking. From there a lifelong friendship was born. After a few months of getting to know each other, and hopeless pursuit by Tim, Tim and Kaitlyn started spending time together and he broke the notorious friend zone. The rest was history.

In Oahu, almost 6 years after they first met, Timothy took Kaitlyn on a private sunset cruise for what was supposed to be an early birthday present. During the sail they sited dolphins, watched rainbows over Waikiki beach, and watched the sunset. When asking the captain to take a photo of them during the last few minutes of the sunset Timothy gave his best version of a kneel and asked Kaitlyn to marry him.
