Travel & Accomodations

We've compiled a shortlist of suggestions for hotels and rentals opportunities for your stay in Providence. Feel free to reach out if you need help planning.

Travel Note

Traveling to PVD

The closest airport to Providence is Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport. This is a 20 minute car ride from downtown Providence. Providence Amtrak Train Station is located right down town Providence. The train is our favorite way to travel up and down the coast and can be really cost efficient if you book with plenty of advance time.

Hotel

Providence Marriott Downtown

1 orms st
PROVIDENCE, RI 02904

We were able to lock in a room block for the wedding. The hotel is close to the train station and downtown. The block is $239 per night and can be used for 3 days prior/after to wedding date. Also there is a discounted overnight parking fee.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

For the most cost effective and least fussy choice, Airbnb will be the best option for your stay. If you want to be close to the wedding venue, we encourage looking for apartments in the Federal Hill area. If you like cute neighborhood walks close to little shops, and want to walk around the Brown University and RISD campus, then picking a spot near Wayland Square or Fox Point would be a great choice. No matter where you pick, Providence is a small city and everything is a less than a 15 minute drive away.

Hotel

The Dean Hotel

122 Fountain Street
Providence, RI 02903

The Dean is a Providence Classic. Once used as a shelter, then a strip club/brothel, it is now a boutique hotel located downtown Providence. It also houses a restaurant, the Dean Bar, and a small karaoke spot in the back called the Boom Box. This is a fun spot if you're planning on staying over the weekend and want to explore night life in Providence. The average for the Oct 11 weekend is around $325/night.

Hotel

The Beatrice

90 Westminster Street
Providence, RI 02903

If you're looking to splurge a little over the weekend, The Beatrice down town providence is a really bougie space- ha. They have a great roof top restaurant that over looks part of the city. Timothy once surprised Jackie with a flower arranging lesson for Valentines day hosted at the hotel. It was a lot of fun. We then went down to Belini's, the hotel's restaurant for appetizers and drinks. The average for the Oct 11 weekend is around $500/night.
