We met at work. We sat with the same lunch group, so we casually got to know each other and ended up becoming friends. One day after work Tim and I were playing ping pong and I beat him pretty badly. Turns out, he's actually pretty good at ping pong and he (shockingly!) let me win. After Tim's loss, I confidently took the initiative and asked him for his number - but if Tim is telling the story, he'll say he asked me for mine.
Tim will admit to this one - I asked him on our first date! The Red Sox were coming to NY to play the Yankees and I didn't want to go alone. Leading up to the game, I was extremely nervous because I wasn't sure what I was supposed to talk to this guy about for 5 hours straight. Tim says he wasn't nervous at all... hmm. It didn't take long to discover the 3 things we mutually cared about the most: 1) Faith 2) Family 3) Football
It was the night before our ski trip to Colorado and we wanted to kick off our vacation at our favorite little Italian restaurant in lower Manhattan. Tim was cool, calm, and collected the whole time, so I had no clue what was ahead. After dinner, we walked around Pier 17 and in front of the Brooklyn Bridge Tim got down on one knee! Here's to forever! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
