We met at The Sand Dollar Lounge on a night The Have To (Charlie's band) was performing. Lacey and I had been having a girls night out and The Have To was playing one of my favorite songs, Island in the Sun, as we were walking into the bar. Lacey and I grabbed a drink and sat down at one of the tables. The vibes of the bar were so fun, the drinks were good, and it was at that moment I knew we were meant to be there. Throughout their show, I was swooning over Charlie. After his show, he had stuck around then ended up joining Lacey and I for some drinks and games of pool. The rest is history!

The night of the proposal, we were seeing one of my favorite country artists, Kenny Chesney at the Las Vegas Sphere. Charlie knew that seeing Kenny Chesney live was a bucket item list for me and of course he made it happen! After the show, Charlie had wanted to show me the stunning views from the top of the parking garage where we had parked. After walking to the parking garage from the venue and up the stairs to the top floor, that was when I had noticed the candles, rose pedals, and our song playing. I was so nervous and excited as Charlie walked me to the end of the candle path where we then danced to our song before Charlie got down on one knee. We of course had to celebrate that night by ending up where it all began, with a drink at The Sand Dollar lounge.
