When Timothy and Ashnique met in college, they were given countless signs (most people would just call them coincidences) that they were supposed to be together. Some of these signs include the fact that Ashnique's dorm room was actually the same dorm room that Timothy had stayed in just 2 years before her. Timothy also happened to be friends with Ashnique's suitemate. When he walked into the room one evening, he saw her and was blown away by her beauty. He even had to step out of the room for a moment to maintain his composure! When Ashnique noticed him, she also thought that he was insanely attractive, but most importantly, she had a feeling that he would be around for a while. Both Ashnique and Timothy were nursing majors, so it was pretty easy to use that as an icebreaker between the two. Timothy kindly offered to assist with tutoring, to which Ashnique accepted with glee. Nursing is tough, and now she had a personal tutor! That being said, Timothy was an excellent tutor and they quickly bonded over their shared interest in other areas such as health, lifestyle, goals, dreams, and eventually, even diet! They spent countless hours talking, going on dates, dream-building and more. They even said 'I love you' after only 3 months! For most people, that would be crazy. But for Tim and Ash, both naturally adventurous at heart, this was only the beginning of a loving, lasting relationship. We are so excited that you will be a part of our dream day; Our wedding day! Let's make it a reality :)

The story of our proposal is a funny one, actually! When the entire world shut down, Ashnique wasn't able to get her nails perfectly manicured like she wanted to. She had mentioned that if Timothy were to propose to her, she REFUSED to have her nails looking awful. Timothy had tried his best to paint her nails pink, but it immediately started chipping. Nonetheless, an oblivious Ashnique failed to connect his effort of painting her nails to the fact that there could be a proposal reeeeally soon! Timothy had bought the ring weeks ago and was walking around with it, waiting for the perfect moment. He even took pictures of him holding it with me in the background and I still hadn't noticed! When we moved into our first home together, he was putting together some furniture. It had been an excellent day and we were both in a great mood. I noticed he was nervous putting together our furniture and I wasn't sure why. He asked me, do you "know what would make this day even better?" Just then, I noticed a small square in his left pocket. I asked him, excited, "WHAT'S THAT??" and pointed to his pocket. He then looked at me and said: "Ashnique, no! you ruined it!" We both laughed hysterically because this was typical of me! He gets me. I get him. That's all we've ever wanted.
