On September 22nd, 2017, Tia & Julie went to see Ed Sheeran at the Garden. After the concert, they decided to meet Celina at The Harp for a drink. Turns out, Bobby was also out at the Harp that night celebrating his return home from his deployment with a few friends. One of those friends happened to be a familiar face from Winchester High School. Tia & Julie said hi and made their way to a hightop to wait for Celina. A few minutes later Bobby asked if Tia & Julie could watch their drinks while they went outside for a cigarette. Well that cigarette break lasted about 45 minutes and in the meantime, Celina had called, she was at the bar but unfortunately had forgotten her ID…Tia & Julie left the drinks and went outside to let them know "Sorry...we had to leave your drinks inside." As Tia started walking away to hop in the uber she heard, "Hey beautiful!" She turned around and Bobby was staring right at her. He asked for her number and well...I guess you could say the rest is history! They like to say it's thanks to Ed Sheeran that they’re together.

Bobby & Tia had a trip planned to Zion National Park in Utah with Mike and Julie for November 2022. Leading up to that, Tia had started to think "Hmm..I wonder if he's going to propose to me." She never said anything but it was always in the back of her mind. About a month before the trip Bobby & Tia were at the Grimes' house, Tia was upstairs and Bobby was downstairs in the kitchen with Tia's mother. She overheard her mom say "Okay so Bobby...is there going to be a surprise when you guys are in Utah?" Bobby laughed and said "No Mrs. Grimes, not yet." Tia was HEARTBROKEN. She pretty much threw a hissy fit in the car ride home. She ended up telling him why she was so upset and he made this whole speech about how he wants to "wait until after we buy a house together before he proposes." She fully believed it and ended up coming to peace with that idea. Well fast forward to Utah and the morning of November 11th, Bobby, Julie, & Mike had Tia waking up at 4:30 AM to do a sunrise hike. They get to the top of the mountain and with the beautiful sunrise in the background he drops down on one knee and pops the question! She was shocked. The funny part is her mom really didn't know it was happening, she just doesn't know how to whisper!
