ADULT ONLY WEDDING

We met on the dating app, Tinder. After a few days, we exchanged numbers and had been talking for a while before deciding to actually meet. Our first date was at a movie theater at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC. We initially decided to meet and watch a movie but Jasmine got held behind at work and took her sweet time getting ready. So, she was over an hour late and we missed the first movie!! Having never met her before, Avery thought that he should have just left but something held him there. When she finally arrived, they caught a different movie and had a great time; besides the fact that Avery would not let Jasmine throw popcorn at the annoying teenagers a few rows up. They ended up staying in the parking lot at the movie theater talking and joking for hours. Eventually, the parking lot security guy came up and said he saw we were on a date and seemed to be having fun but it was getting too late & we had to leave. So, essentially we were kicked out of the parking lot by the security guy. *Fun Fact: Avery still has the very movie ticket in his wallet from their first date.*

Originally, the plan was to go to San Antonio as a random get away & it was supposed to happen there. However, due to our work schedules' Jasmine decided she wanted the two of them to have more time back at home. So, they were no longer going to San Antonio but coming home to NC for a longer time period. The second planned attempt was to propose at the airport in front of our family & friends as we got our luggage but Avery knew Jasmine too well. He understood that she's too much of an introvert and would not enjoy that crowded experience. So, Avery made a hasty decision to pop the question at a surprise pre-birthday dinner. He called and made reservations at a downtown Fort Worth restaurant called Eddie V's. The plan was set up a week in advance to make sure everything went as planned. The night of the proposal, parking was rather difficult and we "luckily" parked in the wrong area. So, Jasmine offered to move the car and Avery accepted. At the time, Jasmine did not think much of him not moving the car himself but unbeknownst to her Avery confirmed the last minute details. When Jasmine got back, we were taken to our table and as Jasmine sat down Avery got down on one knee and proposed.
