It's funny how you can know the person you will spend the rest of your life with LITERALLY almost your entire life (crazy right?). Growing up in the church our parents became acquainted with each other as teenagers. We were never formally introduced but our families knew each other. We had each other's numbers in our phones all these years but neither one of us dialed those numbers. We were "friends" on social media but never interacted, texted, or said more than hi and bye to one another. Then at his sister (Bobbie's) 25th birthday party, we came face to face and he knew Tabitha was the one. That day he told everyone he would marry her...and here we are!

It was Durant's 25th birthday. A weekend full of surprises for sure. Tabitha surprised him with a trip to Miami. The weekend was supposed to end off with a surprise birthday dinner with all of his closest family and friends, but little did she know, the surprise was on her. Thinking it was a "surprise" birthday dinner for Durant, Tabitha walked in to realize it was a surprise proposal for her.
