This love story began during Mardi Gras 2019. Tommie spotted Timekka in the crowd and couldn’t help but approach her—he claims he was after a pair of beads she had, but he ended up finding so much more. At the time, Tommie lived in Michigan and Timekka was in Florida. Despite the distance, they kept in touch and grew a connection. What started as a simple encounter turned into something real. Tommie eventually moved to Florida, and together they built a life filled with love and family. Now, with two amazing kids, True and Trae, they’re excited to take the next step and say “I do” on February 6, 2026.
