Ceremony

Dress Code: Formal
Our ceremony will be held in Detroit's oldest church, dating back to 1844. Please treat it with reverence and enjoy the history of this beautiful cathedral! The ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm as there is another wedding right after ours. If you're driving to the ceremony, there is a free, securely attended parking lot off of E Larned across from the U of D Mercy Law School (searching "655 Larned Street" on Apple/Google Maps will take you right to the entrance of the lot). ***BE SURE TO ROUTE TO SS. PETER AND PAUL JESUIT CHURCH IN DETROIT*** There is another Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church 25 minutes away in Dearborn. ....we will not be there :') Please enter the church through the courtyard entrance on Larned St., across the road from the parking lot, between the Mercy Law School and Ss. Peter and Paul.
~ Intermission ~

There will be a few hours between the end of the ceremony in Detroit and the beginning of cocktail hour in Rochester to allow for travel (~ 35-45 minutes), family photos, and finishing touches to the backyard reception. To minimize thumb-twiddling (although fully allowed if that's your thing), we've compiled a list of some of our favorite places in both Detroit and Rochester on the "Intermission" tab of the website. Take a walk around town, catch up with loved ones, and we'll see you at 5pm!
Cocktail Hour

A chance to take a stroll through the most beautiful gardens in Michigan! Completely unbiased opinion!! Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Ride-sharing to the cocktail hour/reception is encouraged, but if you choose to drive, complementary valet service will be available when you arrive.
