Christine Rinkenberger
Best Woman
Tim and Christine (better known as Rink) worked together at Urbana High School before becoming roommates in 2017 when Tim moved in with Rink and Chase for one year. After that year, Tim and Rink stayed roommates for two more years before Tim moved to the Chicagoland area. Tim attributes his confidence in taking the leap to get his Master's Degree in Theatre Production and Design from Southern Oregon University to the unwavering support and encouragement of Rink! They weathered the pandemic together and they've remained close as best friends and travel buddies ever since!!
Kevin Schroeder
Man of Honor
Not only is Kevin Tom's younger brother, but he has always been Tom's partner in crime. Kevin is the first person Tom calls with good news or life updates. Tom and Kevin have shared multiple life moments including Tom having the honor of standing up in Kevin's wedding as his best man. Kevin has brought Clarissa into Tom's life and made Tom a guncle, which he is forever grateful for! Tom is proud to call Kevin his little brother and Man of Honor.
Trevor Broeker

Tim has known Trevor for all 38 years of his life as Trevor is indeed his older brother and first roommate (they shared a bedroom). Tim was honored to serve as a groomsman in Trevor's wedding, so it is only fitting that Trevor be a part of his! Trevor and his wife, Heather, have two boys, George and Henry who first made Tim an uncle!
Jordan Nelson

Tom and Jordan are two chaotic peas in a pod! Tom met Jordan in a business fraternity at Eastern Illinois University where they become quick friends. After college, Tom and Jordan became roommates for seven years where they bonded over Friday night drinks, Food Network, and traveling. And no matter what people say, their humor is elite.
Amanda Raz

Tim and Amanda Raz (better known as just Raz) met back in college at EIU when they both worked for the office of orientation and quickly became besties-for-life! After college, Tim frequently visited Raz (and Kate!) for adventures in and around Chicago, including seeing Broadway shows and taking short road trips! Tim is elated that they've remained so close after all these years and have coined themselves a sort of Golden Girls trio!
Paul Godlewski

Tom and Paul became best friends freshman year at good old John Hersey High School, making Paul Tom's oldest friend. Since high school, Paul has been Tom's number-one cheerleader and provided Tom with the confidence to be the person he is today! After 18 years of friendship, with countless inside jokes and impeccable carpool karaoke sessions, Tom and Paul are stuck together!
Trey Broeker

Trey is Tim's younger brother and second roommate in life (because when Trevor was old enough to get his own bedroom, Tim moved into the room down the hall with Trey!) Fun fact- Tim didn't have his own bedroom until his junior year of college- thus he knows how to be a rockstar roommate! Tim also had the honor of standing up in Trey's wedding where he got to don a fire helmet and pretend to be a fireman for photos! Trey, along with his wife Brittany, has two little ones, Jasper and Lila, whom Tim also enjoys playing the role of uncle for!
Clarissa Schroeder

Tom's sister from another mister! Thanks to Tom's brother Kevin, Clarissa has become the sister Tom never knew he needed. With a kind heart and great humor, Tom can always count on Clarissa for a good laugh and a stellar game partner. With one daughter, and another child coming in June, Clarissa and Kevin have given Tom the greatest job in the world...being an uncle!
Kate Wiersema

Tim and Kate go back to their days at EIU and working in the orientation office when they first became SODBFFs and have remained that way ever since! Kate rounds out the trio of "Golden Girls" with Tim and Raz. They share a love of Theatre and adventure, and have shared many important events in life together! Tim was blessed with the opportunity to stand up in Kate and her husband Eric's wedding, and looks forward to sharing many more important life moments with them in the future!
Justin Mazzarella

Tom met Justin in high school forming a strong bond over pun jokes and late-night Gene and Jude runs. Over the years, Tom and Justin have embarked on many travels, including New York City, London, and Boston. But quite possibly, the greatest expedition is traveling to exotic islands via the local tiki bar! Tom looks forward to more of these adventures in the future!
Chase & Elizabeth Andree

Having first met while working at Urbana High School, Tim took a leap after living alone for 8 years and moved in with Chase and Rink! That lasted a year, before Chase and their fellow coworker, Elizabeth hit it off and started dating. Tim, Rink, Chase, and Elizabeth quickly became a fun little "family" of four. Tim had the honor of officiating Chase and Elizabeth's wedding in 2020 and takes his role as Godfather to their son Miles very seriously! They've remained incredibly close, despite the distance between Chicago and Champaign, and look forward to their annual Treesgiving tradition as a "family" each year, now with Tom and Miles as well!
