Ice Cream

Its own category - our favorite ice cream spot in Denver is Sweet Cow located on 32nd St. If staying around LoHi there is also a popular outdoor spot called Little Man Ice Cream that is worth visiting though it can be a long line!

Hikes

Hikes around Denver: - If you have never visited the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre music venue, it is worth a trip. It is about 20 minutes outside of Denver and has great hiking trails. - North Table Mountain is in Golden and offers great hikes with scenic views. It’s also right next to one of our favorite breweries, New Terrain Brewing Company. - If you have the time and wheels, we would recommend driving up to Boulder and hiking around Chautauqua Park. This is a beautiful area with a ton of trails to explore. Downtown Boulder/Pearl St. is nearby and a fun area to walk around.

Denver Parks

- Cheesman Park - One of our favorite parks in a classic Denver neighborhood, Cheesman Park is a great place to walk around, relax in the grass, or take in some great mountain views on a clear day. Blue Pan Pizza and Novo Coffee are two great nearby spots to check out. - Washington Park - Fondly known in Denver as Wash Park, this is one of the best spots in town for a walk, run, or bike ride. With lakes, gardens, and lots of open space, it’s an easy place to enjoy the sunshine. If you're looking for great coffee nearby, definitely try Wash Perk. For ice cream, Bonnie Brae or Sweet Action.
