Bridesmaid
We first met my junior year of college when Courtney was recruited into my sorority, Delta Zeta. We quickly realized we had a ton in common; we may have even created a power point detailing these similarities, proving we were meant to be best friends. Luckily, I was the VP of New Membership and had the task of pairing Bigs and Littles and you better believe I stole her for myself. We soon became inseparable, probably annoyingly so, and the next year we were voted Best Big/Little, solidifying what we already knew.

Our story began in our college freshman biology class, Catherine sat next to me because she had recognized me from our previous class and had assumed I recognized her too, I hadn't. Every day she would strike up conversation with me like she knew me and I remember wondering why this girl was being so persistent? Towards the end of the semester we had an extra credit opportunity to visit the Sam Noble Museum and Catherine asked if I wanted to go with her and saying yes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. On our way there she belted "Hey Jude" like no one I had ever seen and from that moment I knew I wanted to be her friend. Thank God she had been determined to become my friend from the beginning.

I met Arianna through Catherine, they were roommates and had gone to high school together. Anytime I met Catherine at her dorm room to go hang out we would ask Arianna if she'd like to come and she almost always politely declined. Naturally, I assumed she didn't like me, but Catherine assured me that wasn't the case and that Arianna just didn't open up to new people very often. I took this as a challenge, I was GOING to be this girls friend. About a year and half later, yes it took that long, we were at a party and with a little help from some adult beverages I FINALLY did it! Now, I can't remember what was said, but we've been best friends ever since.

I honestly don’t know how I met Brandon (aka Bran-dun). I know it was through church, because how else would it have been. But it seems like one day he was there and he never left. Then when he moved schools to Claremore we played football together and that created the everlasting bond we have today. We somehow stayed close and got even closer through college even though I went to OU and he went to like 9 different schools. It might have something to do with my monthly trips to Tulsa to go on our man-dates to see indie movies together. I love how funny he is, his taste in things is impeccable, and we can talk about dumb sports stuff. I wouldn’t want to eat Pop-tarts and engage in tomfoolery with anyone else.

Cody and I became close friends when I accidentally fell asleep in his bunk at Kids Kamp. We did every single church activity together including band, and were also in a super cool and definitely good secular band together. After high school we decided to sleep in the same room for a few more years and became roommates for the entirety of college. I can't tell you how many times I've cried laughing because of Cody, and I hope there are more to come. Maybe if you ask nicely we'll play you the one song we worked really hard on for an open mic, then chickened out and never played in front of anyone.

Where to begin with Seth? We met at our tiny Christian school in 2nd grade, but he was too cool to be friends with me until 5th when we finally were in each other's class. We got really close when we made the transition from said tiny Christian school to the big bad world of a public middle school. I think I've played video games more with Seth than anyone else, and maybe even more than I have alone. I'll never forget the night we played Madden until 6 AM in college laughing at the weird faces players made in their portraits. I got the honor of rooming with Seth all through college, all 6 years of it. I really miss our all night gaming sessions. We'll have to have one soon.
