There's nobody better to fall in love with than with your best friend. We have "known" each other for years. "Known" meaning followed each other on Instagram and were aware of who the other was. But we didn't really get to KNOW each other until late summer/fall of 2021. Thanks to a certain life-long best friend and youngest sister, we connected through group outings and birthday parties. It was through these settings that we learned how cool and funny and downright awesome the other was. We had so many shared interests and a similar off-kilter sense of humor. So we took it to the next step. That's right, sending memes and TikToks back and forth. From there, we started texting and talking more about life and began hanging out just the two of us. We went and saw countless movies (really, this wedding should be sponsored by AMC and Nicole Kidman, IYKYK), grabbed dinner, went to the dog park, and stopped for ice cream on occasion. We realized our friendship was turning into something more. One night, about 6 months into our friendly outings, Tim asked Susie out. And Susie said yes. Then a month later, Tim asked Susie to be his girlfriend. And Susie said yes. Then about 10 months later, Tim asked Susie to marry him. And Susie said YES! We are so excited to bring together our already close families and make this thing official. God has truly blessed us. We are blown away by His amazing plan for and timing in our lives.
