Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Botanical Garden/Dressy Casual: Sundresses (Maxi/Midi), fun cocktail dresses, floral prints, dressy jumpsuits, suits in lighter hues, slacks and a button up. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors while our reception will be under a large tent. Wear comfy shoes for dancing and remember its June in South Carolina! Can't wait to see you there!

Question

Can I bring my kid(s) to the wedding?

Answer

If other arrangements can't be made, we are happy to welcome children with the understanding that there will be drinking and adult language/music. We will not have childcare set up at the wedding to watch children.

Question

What's for dinner? I have a special diet or allergy, is there anything I can eat?

Answer

We are very excited to offer several different kinds of tacos throughout our dinner/reception. Allergen signs will be posted with the food items. We will also have vegetarian/vegan options as well.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel and venue?

Answer

The hotel does not offer a shuttle to the venue, but we will be renting a couple of large vehicles to transport the bridal party and immediate family members. Uber vouchers will be issued to all guests to help with transportation.

Question

Is there parking at the venue? Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

If you choose to drive, there is plenty of parking at the venue, but we encourage car pooling and assigning a designated driver if possible so that everyone makes it home safe. Only in situations where safety is a concern will cars be allowed to stay overnight. In that case, your car will need to picked up between 8am-9am the next day.

Question

How do I plant my invitation?

Answer

There are several ways to grow your wildflower seed invitation! 1. Soak the paper in water, this can even be done overnight. Once soaked, cover the invitation with a thin layer of soil and keep it evenly moist until seedlings are established. 2. Place the invitation in a pot with compost or soil, water really well and make sure the paper is kept moist for the greatest chance of growth. Keep somewhere light and warm. Once seeds are large enough, you may transfer them to your garden. 3. You can also keep your seed invitation under 5cm of water until they start to grow. Then, you may transfer them to soil. Seeds should begin to sprout within a week or two. Paper is 100% biodegradable and offers a sustainable option.
