Hi, everyone! Just an update that the weather might not cooperate on Saturday so the ceremony may be at an inside location. So please plan accordingly for rain gear for your activities and during the day! A breakfast buffet will be available for purchase on both days in the cafeteria in the Playhouse. There are also some brunch options in town, such as Butterfield’s Cafe. If you are arriving Friday, check in, get settled, and join us after 6:30pm in Patty’s Pub for a casual dinner brought to you by our moms! Some good pals have brought special kegs from both down & upstate that will be tapped in the sunroom of Windermere Cottage for all to freely imbibe! There will also be a cash bar if you want to purchase other beer, wine, cider, hard seltzer, etc. in the pub. Patty will also be grilling up burgers, veggie burgers, & hotdogs for purchase if you would like something outside of our menu. We can’t wait to see all of our favorite people together in one place this weekend!

What is the dress code?

Fancy/cocktail attire is recommended. The resort has a lovely, retro vibe that many associate with the late 50's charm of 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.' We encourage you to evoke the style of the time period and get whimsical with your outfits.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2019. We also recommending putting a deposit on your room as soon as possible, as there will be fewer rooms available closer to the wedding date.

When (and how!) should I book my room at Scott's Lake Resort?

***UPDATE: All 38 rooms at Scott’s are booked as of April 1st! So excited to celebrate with our friends & family!*** Please book your rooms by April 1st. Since rooms are limited, booking sooner rather than later will ensure you'll stay on the resort property. If the resort fills up before you are able to secure a room, there are plenty of nearby alternatives, including the Dreamcatcher Lodge, the West Bank Angler & Resort, and the Hancock House Hotel (in addition to AirBnB options).

I wasn’t able to book a room at Scott’s - any recommendations of places to stay?

Can I bring a guest or "plus one"?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are our kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate young children or even many older cousins. Limiting the number of guests we could invite was one of the more difficult parts of planning our wedding, and we hope no one is too disappointed. We encourage all parents - moms, dads, aunts, and uncles - to take a night off and have some fun :)
