Tim and I first met through mutual friends that invited us to their homes for little get-togethers. We kept seeing each other and eventually talked and realized that we had a lot in common; we both loved God, music, camping, and tiny-houses (just to name a few) so we made arrangements to talk more over coffee. When we met we connected immediately and a new friendship began. For the next 6 months Tim & I explored common interests together as we continued in friendship. We went on bike rides, played music together, and plugged into our church's young-adults group. After awhile it became evident that we were inclined to each other as more than friends and Timothy courageously expressed his intentions with me. We were prudent about guarding each others hearts & allowing God to develop things in His perfect timing. During this time, the Lord developed our hearts to have a healthy God-centered desire for one another. As we entered into a relationship, we continued to learn about each other as well as our families. We spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with each of our families and by the New Year we were talking more about marriage. A few months later we met with our parents to discuss our desire for marriage. With all of our parents on board, Tim took the next step & proposed shortly after! God has been faithful in this journey and we look forward to doing life together as we continue to experience His faithfulness!
